Since the NFL decided to go with one bye per conference instead of two following the 2020 season, Wild Card Weekend has not failed to provide fans with some of the most exciting, highly anticipated football of the season. With teams hoping to extend their season and keep hopes of a Lombardi alive, the football action is truly at its peak. With Super Wild Card Weekend coming to a close, we take a look back at the action from this weekend, what went wrong for certain teams, and we look at what's ahead for the winners from the wildness this weekend brings every year.

49ers: Bye
With the 49ers earning the one seed in the NFC, they were able to rest their stars and get a well-deserved week off. This would have been especially beneficial for the Niners with their physical brand of football and the rest would have given them time to get some extra treatment. Players like Christian McCaffrey, Trent Williams, and Deebo Samuel who have sustained injuries at different points throughout the season, will need to be at full strength if the Niners are finally going to get their Lombardi, and this bye week was the first step, as they prepare to take on the Green Bay Packers.
Stay tuned as we will explore all the matchups from the NFC wild-card weekend...
