Jam Packed NBA Sunday: Rockets at Mavericks

As the NBA season winds down, the push for play-in and playoff seeding continues this Sunday with a full-day, 13-game NBA slate. All-day action starts at 3:30 EST with a battle in Dallas. 

Houston's late-season play-in aspirations are slowly fading. After pulling off 11 wins in a row, they have dropped three games straight and are now four behind the Warriors for the final play-in spot. On the other hand, the Mavs look to continue to put wins together as they look like a real threat in the West. With Luka and Kyrie playing as well as any duo in the league and their deadline additions fitting in seamlessly, the Mavs have the potential to make a run this postseason.

With opponents shooting 54% from the field, Kyrie and Luka are in a great spot to put up big scoring numbers today at home. Kyrie has hit this over in four of his last five games. While Luka has gone under his projected point total in his two most recent games, he has gone over this number in 5 straight vs the Rockets. And coming off rest, Luka should be set for a big day, especially if he intends to keep his name in MVP conversations. Without rising star centre Sengun, the Rockets have been out-rebounded as a team in four of their last five games. Luka has also gone over 10.5 rebounds in four of his previous five games, including grabbing 12 against the Rockets in their most recent matchup.
