Bills vs Dolphins TNF Reaction

Week 2 opened up in Miami with a prime time contest between the Dolphins and the Bills. Buffalo came in to the game as 2.5 point under dogs over a team that they have continued to get the better of for all Josh Allen’s career. This trend continued as the Bills easily beat their AFC East rival, 31-10.

Besides the Bills and Josh Allen’s continued dominance over Miami, the main storyline coming out of this game was the status of Dolphins QB, Tua after he suffered a blow to the head in the first half of the game. This was concussion number 4 for Tua, and all have them have seemed like they have caused some pretty serious damage. A lot of discussion today has been revolving around the idea that Tua should retire, Tony Gonzalez even expressed his opinion when he stated on the broadcast in the post game that Tua should in fact retire, and that the risk is no longer worth it.  We have seen in the past Tua attempt to come back from his concussion too early and it resulted in the worst possible scenario. Two seasons ago we saw him come back and immediately suffer another concussion. Tua just got a huge contract with a lot of guaranteed money, so he should be in no rush to come back and I’m sure his status against the Seahawks next week, and for the remainder of the season, is certainly in doubt.
