The NBA season is fast approaching…kind of. Earlier this afternoon, the league released the entire 2022-23 season schedule. Let’s take a look into how the schedule shapes up for the Toronto Raptors at first glance.
Check out the Raps full schedule here:
Some Things to Look for on the Schedule
Kyle Lowry Comes Home: The first of two home games against Lowry and the Miami Heat is on November 16. The second is on March 28.

DeMar DeRozan Comes Home: The Raptors host the Chicago Bulls on November 6.
Back-to-Backs: The Raptors will play in 12 of these such games this season. Of these 12 back-to-backs, both games will be on the road in 6 of them.
LeBron James in Toronto: On December 7, the Raptors will host LeBron and the Lakers. The Raptors split the season series with the Lakers last year.
Season Opener: Cavs @ Raps

The Raptors will begin their 2022-23 campaign with a home game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on October 19. This matchup will feature the reigning Rookie of the Year, Scottie Barnes, as well as ROTY runner-up, Evan Mobley. Last year, the Raptors went 1-3 against the Cavs, including a 144-99 loss.
The Raptors have an all time record of 16-11 on opening night, however they haven’t won an opening night contest either of the last two seasons. This matchup against the Cavs is highlighted by Barnes and Mobley, but All-Stars Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet, Jarrett Allen and Darius Garland will all be playing on opening night ensuring for a great game.
